| Notes from Darin We have all been reminded in the past how important our attitude is. Well, here we go again.
THE ONLY THING IN LIFE THAT WE HAVE CONTROL OF IS OUR ATTITUDE
Being incredibly passionate about motivating and inspiring everyone through fitness lights my fire. It gets me up at 2:30 a.m. with five hours of sleep excited about the possibilities and opportunities. Why am I so driven? Maybe it’s because I had to wait 18 years to do what I wanted, to do what I needed to do ( I finally had enough courage to earn a living for my family as a professional fitness trainer after being a blue collar laborer for 18 years). Good things come to those who wait comes to mind. By being the worlds busiest personal trainer, I have learned an incredible amount at what drives, motivates, inspires, informs different individuals to do what they need to do to lose fat, gain muscle, become more flexible and pain free. I have learned that I am a fitness psychologist and have to get inside of clients, your heads. It is absolutely not what you do in the gym (or in your basement or backyard) 3-5 hours a week nearly as much as it is what you are thinking.
GET A BETTER BODY/GET A BETTER LIFE Past failures: Everyone has tried (incorrectly due to misinformation) several times in the past to get that coveted six pack (athletic looking midsection) to no avail. Sooner or later we just give up and chalk it up to something is wrong with my thyroid, or my metabolism is slow, or I am a loser, etc. This is a big mistake. This e-mail tip of the week can be the start of you getting good information in.
ARE YOU A WINNER OR A LOSER
Some of my clients follow our “LIFESTYLE PROGRAM” very easily and totally transform their body and their life in twelve weeks. Please get inspired by going to OUR testimonials to see past client’s success stories. If you have ever wanted a rock hard “six pack” (come on, everyone has at one time) you must check out Bob Mann’s story. All my clients at times feel like winners, sometimes they feel like losers. Every day we train ourselves to think like winners as often as possible. A winner says, “Lets find out.” A loser says, “Nobody knows. When a winner makes a mistake, he says, “I was wrong”. When a loser makes a mistake, he says, “It wasn’t my fault.” A winner isn’t nearly as afraid of losing as a loser is secretly afraid of winning. A winner works harder than a loser and has more time; A loser is always “too busy” to do what is necessary. A winner goes through a problem; a loser goes around it, and never gets past it. A winner makes commitments; a loser makes promises. A winner says, “I’m good, but not as good as I ought to be”; a loser says, “I’m not as bad as a lot of other people.” A winner listens; a loser just waits until it’s his turn to talk. A winner respects those who are superior to him and tries to learn something from them; a loser resents those who are superior to him, and tries to find chinks in their armor. A winner explains; a loser explains away. A winner feels responsible for more than his job; a loser says, “I only work here.” A winner says, “There ought to be a better way to do it”; a loser says, “That’s the way it’s always been done here.” We all have the winner and loser inside of us.
